Here we have 042 - Inspector Chelmey.
Chelmey and his wife Amelie. There’s only one picture of Amelie in all the games so I had to improvise - I have tried my best to be sure it’s as close to what she prrooobbably looks like from that angle, though I had to take a few liberties with the hair (not to mention her entire outfit since we never see it properly).I imagine in this picture, somebody (maybe Barton) gave all the other officers a puzzle about what Chelmey loved the most. Most of the answers were things like ‘shouting’ and ‘catching criminals’, but Barton and Colby know the truth about their soft-hearted superior.

But Luke, that really IS the Professor….
This is a convention badge I did up last year for Christopher Robin Miller (voice of Layton, Don Paolo and Chelmey!) to wear at Youmacon 2010 where he was a Guest of Honor. I was sadly unable to attend, nor was I able to attend this year either, when he (and another friend of mine) returned as GOH’s. SO SADZ WAS ME I WOE’ED MUCHLY ;_; But it MADE. MY. MILLENIUM. when I was told he liked the badge very much and wore it while he was at the con during his panels :) I SO admire his talent and I absolutely adore how he voices the characters; he breathes such life into them. I’ve also been told he’s an incredibly super-nice guy :) I hope I get the chance to meet him someday, and tell him how happy he’s made all his fans :)
